5 postures for beginner yoga

Yoga helps children grow healthy, supple, keep calm, expand the soul, and is a tool to control emotions. Start with the following actions:

1. Breathe 5 times
This exercise helps children calm down and focus, can be applied before the test, stress or the child has a certain problem.
How to do it: Sit on the floor in a comfortable position (usually sit down). Put two hands on the head, inhale counts from 1 to 5, then count down from 5 to 1, exhale and lower your hands. Breathing slowly helps the mind to concentrate and relax.
2. Posture the tree
This is the basic and very fun for children to balance. The experience of yoga teachers is that they like to stand on one leg.
How to do it: Stand one leg on the floor, the other leg resting on the other foot, or can be placed on the thigh of the other, above or below the knee.
Help the child imagine the base of the stem is firmly attached to the ground, and stretched out the branches.
To be more interesting, it is possible to move your fingers, arms like branches swinging in the wind. Or close your eyes to make the tree go to bed at night. Mother and daughter can hold hands together to form a forest.
It may be that one side is better than the other, so use the footrest instead of the right foot to practice balance both on the left and the right.
3. Relaxing yoga posture
Children also need time to relax as adults. So this yoga exercise will help your baby relax completely. You can practice with your baby after a stressful study.
How to do it: Lie on the floor, arms open, and does not move.
4. Face posture (reverse V)
This is also a basic posture and easy to practice baby that he can see through his two feet.
How to do it: The distance between the two arms with the shoulders, the two feet apart with the hips, and the baby can move left or right forward or backward in this position.
5. Sparkling candle posture
How to do it: lie on your back, put your feet up in the sky by placing your hands behind your back. It is possible to shake your leg to look like a flame image. And can stand like a tree posture to make the tree backwards.
Mom and baby can combine the exercises into one session by starting with 5 breaths to concentrate. Then there is the inverted V posture, and walking on two legs. Next is the balance with the tree posture, and the opposite of the candle. Finally, the posture is relaxed.
With this exercise, your baby will learn how to relax and balance his or her mind, as well as keep blood flowing throughout the body. And remind your baby that yoga is a training exercise, not to be perfect in the movement, to help the body and brain development balanced, healthy, supple.
